  • ::::::::STONE DEAD:::::::

    As of 5pm on Friday, March 30 — Matt Clark has given birth.

    A small, but somewhat jagged, 4MM kidney stone was ushered into the living world weighing in at .000037821 ounces. This is the third stone for Mr. Clark, now 36.

    The first stone took two weeks to pass and was appropriately named “Hail Stone” — calling forth to the world… the start of future torture.

    The second stone took 4 weeks, a painful surgery, and then following an additional 1.5 weeks… gave birth to “Grind Stone” — known for his drudgery.

    The third stone took just 3 days after the ER visit. This stone was called “Gem Stone” — as the apple of my eye due to speedy recovery.

    Based on the catscan taken in the ER, the 4MM was on its way. There was also a bigger brother waiting to reveal itself as a 6MM stone. This one will be called “Mile Stone”.

    If there is one bigger than 10MM… I won’t survive… and we’ll call it “Grave Stone”.

    Thank you for all your calls, visits, laughs, and prayers,
    Matt Clark

    [photos with the stone can be purchased for $3.99 each]

    PS – Remember… I’m always a stones-throw away if ya need me.

  • ::::::::FEAST FOR A...KID:::::::

    Okay... so I wanted to report on our lovely Valentines Day Plans. Uno... that day of professing undying love to the one you're attracted to!? We'll... we did it family style.

    Leave it to the Clarks to do anything ordinary. We did our annual "Eat what ya want, in the van, meal"... let me explain. It's when we all order (from any fast food joint) what we want to eat the most. It's the "what are you craving for" question. So here is our list...

    First we piled into the car with a buncha cash (dave ramsey style). We then drove all the way down 17-92 to the A&W slash Long John Silver combo joints. Then we drove across the street to Burger King to grab some stash. After driving all the way to 434... we turned around and headed for the heart of Lake Mary (wrapping our meals to keep them warm — cause ya can't eat until you get EVERYTHING). Taco Bell was a must stop... then it was Steak-n-Shake and lastly Checkers.

    We then parked the car in the middle of TARGET parking lot and had a feast in the van. It's always fun to run around like crazy people and pick out things that everyone likes. Below are the specs on who got what...

    As you can see... I won out in the FRIED food category (not a good nite of sleep).

    Here are some photos of the evening...

    We had a good time. This is Bailey's second time doing this and I can't wait until he says, "when can we go buy food off the dollar menu and eat in the car again?" Ahhh... A feast for a... Kid!!!

    Try it sometime. Take $15 cash and see how much food you can get from different value menus. OR take as much cash as you need and buy as many different food chains as possible. Eat in the car... enjoy the traffic!

  • Okay... I'm just going to work back into this slowly.

    Bailey was the name on the "name game" on Z88.3! I finally got through and got to talk about him. Yippeee. Maybe I'll post it.

    More to come.

  • .::.:.::.::...:.::. HAPPY FOURTH ::..:.::.:.:...::.

    .::.:.::.::...:.::SUNRISE.::.:.::.::...:.::
    Here we are at the beach on the FOURTH. We set out that morning around 6am to catch the sunrise at New Smyrna Beach. We got there and the sun was already above the horizon... but behind this great big cloud... so it crept up from behind the cloud as if it was rising. We took some family photos. We then headed back to the van (parked at 27th Ave) and ate our breakfast - poptarts! We hit the beach for the rest of the day awaiting the Shuttle Liftoff. It did get crowded but it wasn't awful at all. We body surfed and had fun (no sand castles).

    .::.:.::.::...:.::SHUTTLE.::.:.::.::...:.::
    Around 2:30 it seemed that everyone was ready for liftoff. It was a tremendous sight to look down the beach and see hundreds of people standing up and looking South down the beach - as if aliens were about to attack from a movie. We all stood in amazement as we saw the Shuttle takeoff. People flashed their cameras and shot their movies. And just when the glow of the rockets disappeared into the sky we heard a wave of clapping and cheering flow down the entire beach - unified in our agreement that what we saw was not only awesome - but had a sense of 4th of July Pride to it. Take that North Korea.

    .::.:.::.::...:.::SAYONARA.::.:.::.::...:.::
    After that we packed up the gear and left. We had plans with some friends (The Greens) to eat some delicious inside/out burgers. We had such an early morning and long day that Bailey was in bed at 7:30 (before the sun went down) and we were in comfy PJ's watching War Of The Worlds - which we shut it off halfway through because we were tired. We went to bed amidst the popping of fireworks in our neighborhood - every once in awhile seeing bright colors pierce our eyelids through our window.

    HAPPY FOURTH TO ALL

About Me

  • Hmmm... I work out of the four brightly colored walls of my home. My computer is a dual G5. My monitor is a 20" cinema display. All by my friends at APPLE. I design identity... I use creativity... and I carry a big stick. The name "reVmc" came from playing HALO with the student ministry at LifePoint Christian Church. Steve & Donna Lacey (3eprops) opened their humble abode for us to play. We then continued to play after the students left with... Steve Burns, David Manning aka "saucy", James Graumlich, and Phil Ayres (forgive me if I left you out). I've been married 12 times... no wait... for 12 years... and actually to the same woman for all 12. I have an awesome 5yr old son. He likes to wrestle, build LEGOS, and act like a superhero. My wife and I like to wrestle too... but only when I dress up like a superhero. That's all I have to say about me right now.
